The process of Water Softening involves the removal of Hardness Minerals like Calcium & Magnesium for Sodium Ions.
This procedure is called Ion Exchange. This process takes place on a resin bed – a specifically developed polymer that facilitates the exchange of ions.

These resin beds need to be periodically washed and recharged with sodium ions – this process is known as Regeneration and it is done through a Multi-Port Valve.

Soft water not only protects your showers, taps, plumbing pipes and floors from frequent scaling but is also good for your hair and skin, and appliances like Washing Machines, Dishwashers, etc.
